What a story, as you know my Javas escaped it’s not what you are thinking they did not come back!
My boy is getting into bird keeping, he is having a go at some budgies, we went to are local bird center to
buy a pair for him, while we where there, we seen a cage of mixed white and silver java’s, out of a cage of twenty birds I picked a well marked silver cock and a silver/fawn hen, the time we both got home and sorted out the boys budgies for him, I wanted to take the ring number off the java’s, well I could not believe
my eye’s they are my own birds I bread five years ago! These birds where sold when I shut down my
bird room at my old house, we are now reunited. I know from old records the background of each bird,
both are old enough for breeding, if they are like their parents they should be good breeding birds.

Good news today their first egg has arrived, I knew when I got these java’s they where in good breeding condition, I am hoping this pair will give off a few youngsters.

The second lot of good new is where I live now there is a bird club with in easy walking distance from us, my boy and me when for are first time last night and was warmly welcomed, they had a speaker talking on conditioning canary’s for breeding, the tip’s I picked up here I will be using a few of them on my Java’s.
